Push everything aside and do what needs to be done.

Push everything aside and do what needs to be done.

She sheer amount of whining these days is atrocious.

The number of people complaining about how hard they’ve got it has seriously frustrated me more than almost anything else. It’s pretty fucking simple, really:

Do what needs to be done to get what you want. And if you choose NOT to do those things, then you have no right to complain.

What you want in life won’t be handed to you, it must be earned through hard freaking work.

So you want the money
So you want the community
So you want the best-selling book
So you want the house
So you want the travel

So you want it all, but –

What are you doing to actually GET it?

Showing up is a start, but it’s not enough. Writing a few Facebook posts and sending a few emails isn’t enough either. Unless your goal is just to be a great writer. 🙂 If you have bigger goals than just that, you need to also be –

Growing your community
Selling non-stop (and honing your sales skills)
Genrating an abundance of content
Engaging with your tribe
Growing your team and your support
Generating leads every day
Planning and executing
Cultivating (and maintaining) a success mindset
Marketing yourself and your business

And doing a million and one other things.

And it all sounds like a lot, I know. That’s because it IS a lot. And it’s what needs to be done if you want to build a freaking empire!

The good news is that you don’t have to do it all on your own. There are plenty of people who would love to help you do this quicker and with more freedom and ease. The other bit of good news is that so long as you have a PROCESS for the work that needs to be done each day, it won’t feel so damn overwhelming!

You can get stuff done (the important stuff, not the “busy work” stuff that most people waste time on), you can make money, and you can have fun doing it all.

You can streamline the process by getting your head in the game and having a powerful morning practice that sets you up for success ALL day long!

Every morning, you get to make a choice:

A. You can sleep in, rush around, feel behind all day, always need to get “caught up”, and end the day feeling exhausted.
OR
B. You can wake up early, set powerful intentions for the day, get done your most important work, impact the lives of others, make more money, and end the day feeling content.

Which option sounds more ideal to you?

I’m gonna go ahead and assume you chose Option B (and if you didn’t, there’s something seriously wrong with you). 🙂

So here’s the thing:

You know the saying “breakfast is the most important meal of the day”? Well, here’s a different saying for you. One you should memorize and follow: “your morning practice is the most important part of your day“.

Why?

Because when you can start your day with a surge of energy, with optimism, with focus and clarity on what needs to be done to set you up for a day of success, well –

Let’s just say that NOTHING feels better, and nothing gets you such incredible results.

I know that once I went from waking up at 7am to waking up at 5am (and now, 4:30am), my productivity SKY-ROCKETED. My income went up. My community grew. My visibility increased.

This all happened because I had an extra 2 hours in my day, and it was in those 2 hours that I was my most productive.

In all my research about productivity, the biggest thing that has ever stood out to me is how powerful having a morning practice is. Those first 2 hours that you’re awake are when you’re the most alert and can be the most focused. Now, imagine having that alertness and focus, AND having a plan to go with them. A plan that will help you do accomplish your goals.

Sounds like it would be pretty damn incredible, right?

That’s because it is. 🙂

I’d tried getting up early in the past, and I’d do okay for a few days, but when I didn’t see results happening fast enough, I felt like I was wasting my time, and I should go back to bed. Eventually, I stopped waking up early at all (the only reason I slept until 7am is because I had to get my kids up for school, otherwise I would have slept later!). I just didn’t see the point.

It wasn’t until I realized I needed to combine an early wake-up time with a solid morning PLAN if I was going to be any more productive than had I just slept in a few extra hours.

And so I strategized. I planned. I tested. I tweaked.

Eventually, after years of trial and error, I landed upon a morning practice that actually allowed me to get shit done, be WAY more productive, accomplish a whole lot more, and hit my goals time and time again.
