When you’re willing to wake up at 4am to work on your business, that’s when you’ll be successful.
When you’re willing to sacrifice sleep, time to yourself and days off, that’s when you’ll be successful.
When you stop telling yourself that you’re broke, that you’re unworthy, that you’re scared, that’s when you’ll be successful.
When you wake up and the first thing on your mind is “how can I make money today?”, that’s when you’ll be successful.
When you can’t stop working because you love it so much that it doesn’t even feel like work, that’s when you’ll be successful.
When you give up trying to fit in and be like everybody else, that’s when you’ll be successful.
When you stop giving a fuck what everyone else things and start focusing on you and YOUR dreams, that’s when you’ll be successful.
When you’re thinking about your business during random times, such as in the shower and while you’re out grocery shopping, and you’re brainstorming AWESOME content for your community, that’s when you’ll be successful.
When you get knocked down, fail, spend money on shit you didn’t need, and can still get right back up again, that’s when you’ll be successful.
I think you get the idea.
Do the fucking work. And make sure it’s work you love. Because if you aren’t OBSESSED with the work you do, you will NEVER be successful. Never.
I’ve had many failed businesses and the only time I REALLY started to make crazy amounts of money, is when I was true to myself and doing work that I loved and was obsessed with.
OBSESSION is necessary. You can love your work all you want, but you will NOT get filthy fucking rich on love. You need to be obsessed.
Your work needs to become your LIFE. It takes a hold of you. Consumes you. And you can’t BREATHE without it.
That’s how you need to feel about your work if you want to be successful.
Now, I’m not saying it needs to be difficult. I’m also not saying you need to spend all day long working on your business, avoiding friends, family and yourself.
But you DO need to hustle for as long as it takes to get shit done. Every day. Some days this may only take a few hours. Other days you might be working 20 hours straight.
You MUST be okay with that. You must LOVE that. You must CRAVE that.
Because without that kind of obsession, that kind of TRUE passion for your work, you will never be successful.
You’ll never drive that car
Live in that house
Go on those trips
Eat that food
Hire those people
Buy those clothes
You won’t ever be successful enough to have all of that if you aren’t OBSESSED with what you do.
So tell me - are you obsessed?
