Take some freakin’ responsibility for yourself and your actions (or lack thereof).
You KNOW you haven’t been doing the work that’s necessary.
You’ve been holding off, waiting, slacking, and all out –
Not giving it your all. You’ve been waiting for a sign, or a helping hand, something or SOMEONE to help you, but you know what? It’s not coming. They’re not coming. You have to do this on your own.
This, meaning “going after your dreams and living your FUCK YES life“, of course. 🙂
You simply have to decide that you’re in it to win it, and act accordingly. Because I’m sorry to tell you, but –
No one is coming to save you.
You absolutely MUST do what it takes, which includes showing up, speaking your mind, creating and selling, working on your mindset, doing a full-out HUSTLE every day, and calling it in, repeatedly.
If you asked me what I would do if I had to start a business all over again, it would be this:
- Decide what I want.
- Repeatedly ask for what I want.
- Show up DAILY and be visible.
- Grow my email list from DAY 1.
- Start a Facebook group and be super engaged with it.
- Write every single day.
- Communicate with my tribe constantly.
- Sell whatever I feel like selling (not what I think will make me money).
- Speak from the heart; unfiltered.
- Have daily brainstorming sessions.
- Hire a mentor straight away.
- Hire more mentors as I go (never stop learning).
- Hire a team (or at least an assistant) from the beginning.
- Read mindset books, watch videos, listen to audios… TRAIN MY BRAIN FOR SUCCESS, daily.
- Travel more (this makes me more creative).
- Practice self-care every day (this also makes me more creative).
I would do that.
I wouldn’t sit around waiting for some magic formula to grow my business. I would take action immediately, going after what I want. No waiting!
Even hiring mentors was never about me finding someone to “show me the way”. I hire mentors so that I can soak up their energy and be inspired by them at a closer level than just “observing” them online. Not so they can tell me what to do to find success. Those answers are already inside of me. But the power of being around someone (even just online) who is SO high-vibe and inspiring is REMARKABLE.
I don’t expect anyone else to save me, because they can’t. They’re too focused on saving themselves (as they should be).
I see so many people struggling, both online and offline and it makes me heart hurt. I just want to shake them and say “choose something different!”, because YES, it really is that simple
Success starts inside. You have to first choose success and set the intention that anything less is unacceptable. And then you need to show up every day and DO THE FREAKIN’ WORK to make it happen.
Success is both an inside AND and outside job. And it starts and ends with you.
