How To Boost Your Confidence As A New Coach

Many new coaches struggle with confidence, especially when it comes to selling your services. So if you’re feelin’ a bit “ehhh” about selling right now, you’re not alone. But! That said - you need to get over your BS and show up as the badass leader that you are. Boosting your confidence is a MUST, and here’s how: Reflect on the results you’ve been able to achieve/accomplish for yourself. Think about everything you’ve accomplished in your business and life. You are a boss bitch, and you are amazing at what you do. Own that shit. Celebrate all of your wins - even the small ones. Remind yourself of how you’ve helped others. Look back on advice you’ve given to others in the past, that worked out well for them. If you have “thank you” messages and emails from friends & family, read those. Remind yourself just how impactful your work has been for others - even if you didn’t charge them a single cent for it. (I like to sift through old testimonials from clients & customers whenever I need a confidence boost!) Act as if you’re getting testimonials every single day. Act that way every day, regardless of whether or not you received a review/testimonial. Confidence is a muscle that constantly needs to be stretched. Do something every day that will boost your confidence and prove to you just how valuable you and your work really...

Whenever I meet someone for the first time, particularly if they’re not an entrepreneur, they ask me what I do (why is this always a conversation starter?!). I tell them, and they almost often ask “don’t you ever get bored?”  And I just don’t know what to say, because.. No. No, I don’t get bored. Sometimes I feel tired, or overwhelmed, or confused, but bored? Nah. I used to get bored - back when I was teaching stay-at-home moms how to make money blogging. I knew how to do that (had done it for years at that point), but teaching it made me wanna stab myself in the eye with a very dull pencil. It felt like torture. I was “bored” all the time. And when I say bored, I actually just mean out of alignment, because that’s what boredom actually is - a lack of doing what feels good for your soul. If you’re feeling the feelings of boredom, I would tune in and ask yourself if you’re spending your time on the things that actually matter to you – Because if you are, then what you’re feeling is not boredom, but lack of alignment. Do the inner work and investigate to see what exactly it is that isn’t in alignment for you - and then...
