Show Up, Be You, Get Paid

Show Up, Be You, Get Paid

Show Up, Be You, Get Paid, Make A Difference, Change The World With Your Worlds, And Live Life On Your Terms. Let go of your idea of perfect. Perfect doesn’t exist. Just start. Just go. Just leap! Your wings will appear before you hit the ground, as they always do. Think about the last time you leapt and took a risk on something. It all worked out the way it was supposed to, right? You didn’t die. You didn’t end up homeless. Your life wasn’t ruined. Your wings appear on the flight down. They can’t be created before you jump. Remember: The perfect you is the imperfect you. Perfection is scary to us, anyway. You seem fake. You seem like you’re trying WAY too hard. Trust me, we can tell that you are. And no one likes that. It’s a total turn-off. We will see your phony perfection and run in the other direction, FAR away from you. You need to be relatable if you ever want anyone to pay attention to, listen to, buy from, you. And your imperfections allow you to do that.  Seeking perfection stalls you – Holds you back – Pins you down. Allow the message to flow, as it must. Do the work which is inspired, not which you think is a “must”. Ignore any thought of how things “should” be, and instead focus on the thoughts of how you FEEL you must move forward. Your thoughts and feelings will lead the way, and they always lead you the right way, if you are following the flow. Trusting your GUT. Listening to and acting...

The Story I Never Told

The Story I Never Told

Back in 2015, I hired my first coach.  I hired her because I needed someone to show me how to earn 6-figures in my coaching business (my goal was $100,000 the first year).  It cost $6,000 to hire her.  I didn’t have the money.  But I did have a credit card and a deep desire to make $100,000 and change my life.  After 6 months of working with my first coach, I’d made over $48,000.  I hired another coach in the middle of that first year (I realized just how valuable 1:1 coaching was to my results).  It cost $15,000 to hire her.  I didn’t have the money (I’d spent it all on other biz expenses, travel, and paying myself well).  But I did have a credit card and a deep desire to make $100,000 and change my life. After working with this coach, I’d made $51,000.  At the end of my first year in business, I’d made over $250,000. DOING WORK I WAS IN LOVE WITH.  The next coach I hired?  $20,000. And nope, I didn’t have the money. But I did have a credit card and a deep desire to make $500,000 (yes, HALF A MILLION DOLLARS) and change my life.  Guess how much money I made in my second year in business?  I MADE HALF A MILLION DOLLARS.  I’ve since spent over $100,000 on private coaching.  I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO “AFFORD IT“.  The money was never there.  But… credit cards were.  As was my desire to make money and do big things with my life.  And I’ve made over $2 million dollars - 2...
How To Boost Your Confidence As A New Coach

How To Boost Your Confidence As A New Coach

Many new coaches struggle with confidence, especially when it comes to selling your services. So if you’re feelin’ a bit “ehhh” about selling right now, you’re not alone. But! That said - you need to get over your BS and show up as the badass leader that you are. Boosting your confidence is a MUST, and here’s how: Reflect on the results you’ve been able to achieve/accomplish for yourself. Think about everything you’ve accomplished in your business and life. You are a boss bitch, and you are amazing at what you do. Own that shit. Celebrate all of your wins - even the small ones. Remind yourself of how you’ve helped others. Look back on advice you’ve given to others in the past, that worked out well for them. If you have “thank you” messages and emails from friends & family, read those. Remind yourself just how impactful your work has been for others - even if you didn’t charge them a single cent for it. (I like to sift through old testimonials from clients & customers whenever I need a confidence boost!) Act as if you’re getting testimonials every single day. Pretend you just got a raving review/testimonial from a client or customer this morning. How would you show up the rest of the day? Likely feeling like a BOSS, right? Act that way every day, regardless of whether or not you received a review/testimonial. Confidence is a muscle that constantly needs to be stretched. Do something every day that will boost your confidence and prove to you just how valuable you and your work really...
This Is The Way That We Do Things Around Here

This Is The Way That We Do Things Around Here

It’s always been interesting to me, the idea of “boredom”. How does one get bored, exactly? How is it even possible to BE bored? The only way you can really be BORED is if you don’t actually love what you do, and if that’s the case, well.. that’s a whole ‘nother problem! Whenever I meet someone for the first time, particularly if they’re not an entrepreneur, they ask me what I do (why is this always a conversation starter?!). I tell them, and they almost often ask “don’t you ever get bored?”  And I just don’t know what to say, because.. No. No, I don’t get bored. Sometimes I feel tired, or overwhelmed, or confused, but bored? Nah. I used to get bored - back when I was teaching stay-at-home moms how to make money blogging. I knew how to do that (had done it for years at that point), but teaching it made me wanna stab myself in the eye with a very dull pencil. It felt like torture. I was “bored” all the time. And when I say bored, I actually just mean out of alignment, because that’s what boredom actually is - a lack of doing what feels good for your soul. If you’re feeling the feelings of boredom, I would tune in and ask yourself if you’re spending your time on the things that actually matter to you – Because if you are, then what you’re feeling is not boredom, but lack of alignment. Do the inner work and investigate to see what exactly it is that isn’t in alignment for you - and then...
